Director Statement

Roundabout: x.ypno is in an attempt to escape from the paranoia and phobias of their thoughts, in a trapping rant around the roundabout between control and acceptance.

Synopsis

x.ypno is on a journey of escape from their fear, phobias, and oppressive means of everyday toxicity. To escape the baggage of everyday life, x.ypno decides to drive as far away as they can. In his delirium and journey of thought, he eventually finds himself trapped in a vicious circle around the roundabout of delusion. As he begins his journey towards the unknown, he appears, through his thoughts, in various patterns. At home among the screens and the traditional atmosphere, in the plains of the Cypriot countryside, among the Christian symbols (Second Cross), confronted with death in morgue scenes. The film ends with the character trapped in a repetitive circle around the roundabout and his thoughts, where he realizes that he must stop trying to control everything and let his thoughts guide him.
